The Central Bank of Oman on Sunday 23ed August 2026, announced the Auction results of the 84th Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue, which received overwhelming response from investors, worth a total applied amount of 164,370,400.

According to a media release issued by CBO’s Market Operations Department, the 83rd GDB Issue, has received applications amounting 164,370,400 with allotment amount of 100,000,000. The average yield was 4.48 percent at an equivalent price of 100.120, while the highest yield was 4.50 percent at an equivalent price of 100.00 and the lowest yield was 4.00 percent at an equivalent price of 103.030.

The issue will be settled on Tuesday, 25th August 2026. The 84th GDB issue, carrying a coupon rate of 4.50% p.a, will mature on 25th August 2033.
